Arthur turned his head back to glare at the man who shackled his wrists.
"We had an accord, Vash." He said, his voice dripping with venom.
Vash smirked. "I only honor my deals with honorable men." He turned to one of the crew members. "Tale him and the other and lock them in cells. We set sail for Britain soon."
The crew members complied and took Alfred, Gilbert, Antonio, Francis, and Arthur away. When the initial shock of what just happened wore off, you started toward Arthur. But before you could take two steps toward the golden haired man, a pair of hands grabbed your arms, pulling you back. You turned to see one of Vash's crew members holding you back. You put on your best glare.
"LET GO OF ME!" You shouted and shook from his grasp, turning to kick him in the groin before running off to Arthur, your hand out stretched.
This time arms wrapped around your waist. Before Arthur disappear through the door, you saw him look at you with an expression of longing and anger. When he was gone, you turned to see who had grabbed you. Your (e/c) eyes stared directly into grass green. ((A/N Pokemon anyone?))
"Come along." He said and dragged you to his ship and inside.
Most of the way you struggled. But stopped and he lead you to a room, letting you in. Before he left, you spoke, glaring at the back of his head.
"I'm betrothed to him." You said. "I agreed to marry him long before I met you."
Vash didn’t say anything. He just left the room, closing the door behind him.
Two weeks later, you arrived back in Britain. For the past week you tried to sneak down to the cells and see Arthur, break him free if you could, but you were always stopped. For the last week, you stayed in the room, only leaving to eat.
When you arrived back in Britain, Vash came to fetch you. He took you out before the pirates. He brought you to the palace and brought you to the room. He left and barely five seconds later, your adoptive mother burst in. She held you, kissed your head and asked what happened. You made it seem like you were the helpless prisoner, because if you didn’t, you wouldn’t be able to save Arthur and the others.
Finally your mother stood up and made her way to the door. Before she left, she turned and looked at you.
"Your wedding will resume in one week, (name)." She said, smiling, not knowing how much that made your heart plummet.
You had to think of a plan fast.
Arthur paced the cell of the ship after he felt it dock. He needed to get out of this captivity and get you out again. As he was pacing he was wretched out of his thoughts by a loud banging. He turned and saw Vash standing there.
"Come." He said.
"You honestly can't expect me to follow your orders without an army behind you." Arthur replied.
As if on cue, dozens of sailors stepped out of the shadows. "You were saying, Mr. Kirkland?" Vash said.
"Tch…" Arthur said. Then he, Gilbert, Antonio, Francis and Alfred were escorted out of the cell, along with the crew members.
They walked in silence before Vash brought them to the cells below the main floor of the palace. He threw the four captains, plus Alfred into the same cell. Before he walked off, he was stopped by Arthur.
"You're throwing us in the same cell? You think that’s a good idea?" Arthur said.
"If I'm lucky, you'll save me the trouble and kill each other off. Save room for the gallows." Vash said.
Arthur scoffed and Vash left the room. Gilbert sat in the corner of the cell with the rest of the BTT. Arthur smached his hands against the bars.
"Damn it!" he roared.
Alfred walked up and put his hand on Arthurs back. "It'll be all right. We'll get out of this."
"How?! How will we get out of this Alfred?!" Arthur shouted, turning on his first mate.
Alfred smirked. "They didn’t get Peter."
You lay in bed the night you got back, staring at the ceiling. You were contemplating going down to the cells, but you didn’t know how much luck you would have. Then you heard a tapping on the window. You looked over and saw little Peter throwing rocks up. when he saw your head pop out he waved.
"Put on your clothes and follow me!" he whispers loudly.
You didn’t say anything. You just went into the room and found your clothes that you wore on Arthurs ship. Unfortunately, Vash took your sword. But you put on the old clothes nonetheless. Then you went back to the window. You look down and gaged the fall. Wasn’t too bad. You climbed up on the window sill and then let yourself fall. Your feet hit first, then you crouched into a roll so you didn’t break any bones. When you stood up, you looked at Peter.
"Impressive." He said. He handed you a hat. "Hide your hair and face. this won't work if your recognized." He said.
You took the hat and put it on, tucking what was left of your hair into it so you look as much as a boy as you could. Then Peter handed you a sword.
"Let's hope you don’t need that." He said.
You nodded. "Where are we going."
He didn’t answer. He put his fingers to his lips and then started creeping around the perimeter of the palace. You followed him as quietly as possible. He led you around to a secret entrance. You weren’t sure where it led too. That is, until Peter opened the barred door and you followed it. Soon it hit you like a sack of knives. Peter was taking you to the dungeon. To Arthur.
"We're going to try to break them out, aren’t we?" You asked.
