The next few months at school were normal… if you could call going to school with a bunch of countries normal. Your relationship with Iggy got better, he even started to let you call him by his nickname that he isn’t so fond of. You also started to be able to trust him again.
"I don’t want to go back to my parents…" You said.
"Well, you are a country; you can go whatever you want to." He said.
"Like where? I have nowhere else to go, Iggy." You told him.
"Well… y-you could always… come back to England with me…" He said and you thought you saw a blush spread across his cheeks. "You'll get to meet my brothers." He said, trying to defuse the awkward situation he believed he just created.
"Uh…" You felt your face heat up. "I would—"
"Hey! Schwester!" You turned to the voice that caught you off and saw Prussia running towards you, with Germany walking leisurely behind him.
"What is it, Gil?" You said, you felt… weird calling him by his country name, since he was related to you and all, but you figured you would end up calling him that at some point.
"I vas going to ask if you vould like to spend summer vacation in Germany." He said, his trademark grin on his face. "Maybe we can find out vat country you are zere."
"Uh…" You looked at England who stood there silently.
"Don’t vorry; your boyfriend can come too. Just he's going to sleep outside." He smirked.
You glared at your brother.
"I'm kidding, frau!" He said.
"Oook." You looked at Iggy again. He gave a small nod. Then you turned back to your brother.
"I'll go if Iggy's brothers can come too." You said.
"Vy zem? Zey are all arschlöcher." He said.
"And you're not, Prussia?" England shot back, not even really sure why he was even defending his siblings in the first place.
"Point taken. Anyvay, vy zem?" Prussia asked again.
"Because just before you came Iggy said that if I go to England with him I can meet them, but then you came and asked about going there." You replied. "So I'll go if Ireland, Scotland, and Wales can go with us."
"But zats nearly five extra people." Prussia whined.
"Five?" You asked. You counted on your fingers. Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England… that was only four… why would there be five? "What do you mean? I only count four…"
Prussia looked at England. "Ireland is twins, schwester. Ze northern part of Ireland und ze southern part." He explained.
"Oh." You said. It made sense now. "Well, if they can't go then I will go to England for the summer."
Part of you were wondering why you were even asking if they could come too. England was wondering the same thing, since he only expected North Ireland and Scotland to go mostly so the two could annoy the crap out of England about his girlfriend. England sighed and decided to just let it go.
Prussia sighed as well. "Ok, fine. Zey can come too."
You smiled. "Perfect." You said. "Now let's get some food and pack so we can leave."
The four of you walked down the school and to the cafeteria. After all of you ate dinner, you all went to your respective dorm rooms to pack to leave the next morning. When you arrived in the dorm room you saw Hungary at her bed packing up her own stuff.
"Hey, Hungary." You said.
"Oh, hey, (name)." She said and closed her suitcase. "What are you doing over the summer? Going home?"
You shook your head. "No. I'm going to Germany with England, his brothers, Prussia, and Germany."
"Aw. That sucks." She said.
"What do you mean?"
"I was going to ask if you wanted to come to Hungary with me this summer." She explained. "But it looks like I'm going to have to go to Germany and visit Austria." She grinned. "And of course make sure Prussia stays in line."
You giggled. "Hopefully they don’t kick you out. And that they have a big house because now that makes…" you counted on your hand… "ten people there all at once."
"Oh, I bet there's going to be more. I mean, Denmark and Germany are old drinking buddies, and the Nordics generally travel together, sometimes, at least. And then Romania might stop by if he finds out that England is there." She said. "They both do magic. So sometimes Romania will randomly stop by England's house and they'll cast spells or mix potions or something like that."
"Maybe I can get them to teach me some. It sounds fun." You said and giggled again. "Seems like this summer is going to be a lot of fun."
"Let's hope so." Hungary said and laughed.
While you finished packing, you and Hungary chatted. The two of you talked about everything and nothing at the same time. It was a very enjoyable night and you had fun. Eventually the two of you fell asleep.
The next morning after breakfast, you and Hungary met up with Germany, Prussia, and England at the front gates.
"Good news, bruder," You said and grinned, hoping you pronounced the German word the right way. "Hungary said shes going to come over also!" You said with half mock excitement.
Prussia just blinked a few times, wondering if he heard what he thought he heard. "Vait… vat?"
"You heard me!" You giggled.
Prussia's jaw dropped and soon an argument ensued between the two nations. It was so funny to watch Prussia and Hungary argue, it was like watching an old married couple. While the two were arguing, you turned to your boyfriend. He looked at you and smiled.
"Well, I'm going to go to England before I go to Germany. I need to see if Ireland, Scotland, and Wales would like to accompany me." He said. "No promises that all of them will go. I would only expect North Ireland, Seamus, and Scotland, Allistor, to actually come."
You nodded. "All right. What if you tell the other two that they'll get to meet your girlfriend?"
"That might only work on Dylan, Wales. South Ireland, Connor, might not come at all because he absolutely hates me." England said.
You shrugged. "Oh well. We'll let what happens happen." You said.
"That’s my girl." England said and smiled.
You smiled back at him. "Don’t take too long in England." You told him. "I mean, what am I going to do with two Germans in Germany all by myself?" You grinned.
He simply chuckled. "I know you can handle yourself, love."
With that, he hugged you and gave you a quick kiss. "I won't be longer than a couple of days." He said.
You nodded. Just before you were about to reply you heard the clonk of cast iron hitting skin. You turned and saw that Hungary had whipped out her frying pan and hit Prussia with it to convince him to let her go. You couldn’t help but laugh. Then the two looked at you and gave you questioning looks. You shook your head.
"I guess that means that Hungary is coming to Germany this summer too?" You said.
Prussia simply nodded and looked to the side, clearly annoyed.
"Well, good." You looked at the time on your phone. "I guess it's time for us to shove off, isn’t it?"
Germany was the one who spoke. "Ja. Don’t vant to miss our plane back to Deutschland."
You nodded and turned to England. "A couple of days, right?"
He nodded and smiled. "I promise, love."
You nodded curtly. "Good."
The two of you hugged and he gave you a fleeting kiss. When he pulled back he gave you a smile and then grabbed his back and started walking to a cab that would take him to the airport. Then you turned to Hungary.
She hugged you and told you that she just has to stop back home first before going to Germany. She said that she needed to get a couple of things. You nodded and she left as well. When she was gone, Prussia walked up to you.
"Ready to go, schwester?"
You nodded and he led you to a cap where you, him, and Germany piled in. the cab driver started taking you to the airport. You felt kind of nervous. You were heading off to Germany, another country, without even letting your parents know. You were going to find out what country you personified. This summer held so many different possibilities.
You couldn’t wait for it to start.
